APRS

I run a WIDE1-1 digipeater from my house on a HSMM-MESH™ router in my shack running the APRS4R program.  One of the intended uses is to be able to transmit the NWS warnings for our area over the RF network.

I can also use it as a remote entry into the RF APRS network, similar to using AGWPE's TNC sharing.  If I'm at a computer, I usually have a APRS display up.

The client program I have been using is APRSIS32, written by Lynn, KJ4ERJ.  Lynn is actively developing the program and I've found it to be the best APRS client program out there now, hands down.  For more information, see the wiki page at aprsisce.wikidot.com
